The M/V Maple Grove is a US Coast Guard inspected LCM-8 landing craft. She is certified for service on the St Lawrence River, as well as Lake Ontario , and is capable of carrying 60 long tons. Documented length is 73.7 feet. The Maple Grove is one of the only USCG inspected LCM-8's in the United States .
During the last 18 years, Maple Grove has seen service throughout the St Lawrence Seaway, including jobs in Ottawa, Massena, Oswego and as far West as the Niagara River.
In addition to regular service as a landing craft, Maple Grove as also served as a shipdocking tug in Massena, Oswego and Prescott , a fishstocking vessel, a research and drilling platform and as a fireworks launching platform
